Finding Us - Holiday Cottages

Our Holiday Properties are located in the beautiful coastal area of Porthcothan Bay in North Cornwall. Our postcode is PL28 8PN.

Important Note for Sat Nav Users: Some sat navs have directed previous guests on unnecessary detours around Cornwall. We recommend following our directions below or consulting a map before relying solely on your sat nav.

Directions by Road:

  1. Take A30 as far as the Highgate Hill junction

  2. Turn right onto the A39 towards St Columb Major/Wadebridge

  3. Continue along the A39 until you reach the Winnards Perch roundabout

  4. Turn left onto the B3274 road to Padstow

  5. After 2 miles, take the 2nd left (signposted St Merryn)

  6. Go straight on at the next crossroads

  7. Before St Merryn, follow signs for Porthcothan Bay (taking a left at the large bend just past the 'holiday villages', and left again at the next t-junction)

  8. After approximately 2 miles (on the B3276 towards Newquay), turn right at the sign for Carnevas Farm Holiday Park (opposite the Tredrea Inn)

  9. If you reach Porthcothan beach, you've gone too far!

For Crigg Cottage: 1/2 mile up this road on the left hand side, opposite the campsite entrance. Crigg is the cottage beside the lane

For The Linney, Granary, and Carnevas Barn: On the right hand side, just up the hill from the campsite entrance.

Finding Us - Clifftop Camping, Glamping & Wedding

Follow all the directions above but turn left after Crigg Cottage where you see the sign “Porthcothan Clifftop Camping

Check-in/Check-out Information

Holiday Cottages

  • Check-in time: From 4pm

  • Your accommodation will be unlocked - please let yourself in and make yourself at home

  • Please do not arrive earlier than 4pm unless by prior arrangement

  • We are sometimes ready earlier - text us on your arrival day if you would like to check if early arrival is possible

  • Check-out time: By 10am

  • This allows our cleaning team and linen service sufficient time to prepare for our next guests

Camping, Glamping & Weddings

Jeff runs this side of things on a much more relaxed basis. Please use the What’s App button and send him a message.

  • Check-in: Weather permitting you can rock up whenever to wild camping.

  • Glamping we will prep for so it’s 4pm unless you’ve been told otherwise.

  • Weddings, details to be organised directly with Jeff.
